Behavioural Analytics

Find the step that loses the sale.

Build a multi-step funnel and read conversion, drop-off and time on step for each one — ranked, so the largest leak names itself instead of waiting to be spotted. Then open the sessions that abandoned on it.

The biggest drop, called out

Steps are ranked by how much they lose, so the one worth fixing this sprint is the one at the top rather than the one someone remembered.

Broken down by who it happened to

Split the same funnel by device, browser, country or audience and find out whether it is everyone or one segment carrying the loss.

Evidence one click away

A funnel step is not a dead end. Jump from it into the recordings of the sessions that stopped there.

What Conversion Funnels does

Build it in minutes

Steps are events or screens you already capture, so a funnel is assembled rather than instrumented.

  • Multi-step funnels across web, iOS and Android
  • Screens, taps and navigation are captured automatically
  • No tracking-plan workshop before the first funnel

Read it properly

Conversion rate alone hides where the money actually goes. Every step carries the numbers that explain it.

  • Sessions in, sessions lost and drop-off percentage per step
  • Time on step, so a slow step is separable from a confusing one
  • Friction score alongside conversion for each step

Then go and look

The point of finding the step is watching what happened on it.

  • Open replays of the sessions that abandoned at a step
  • Cross into heatmaps to see where attention went on that page
  • Ask the people who dropped why, with a targeted survey

Better with the rest of it

Every module reads the same identity, events and sessions, so an investigation that starts here does not have to be rebuilt to continue somewhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to tag events before I can build a funnel?

Not for screens, taps, scrolls and navigation — those are captured automatically once the SDK is installed. Custom business events still need a track() call, and those can be funnel steps too.

Does it work across web and mobile in one funnel?

Yes. One SDK covers web, iOS and Android under one identity, so a journey that starts on your website and finishes in the app stays a single funnel.

How is this different from the funnels in a general analytics tool?

The number is not the deliverable. Every step here resolves to real sessions, so the drop-off is one click from the recording that explains it rather than the start of a separate investigation.
